Agfa highlights CR systems, DR upgrade at ECR
Agfa HealthCare introduced a tabletop CR system and a mammography/general radiology CR product at the European Congress of Radiology (ECR), in Vienna, March 2-5.
The CR 10-X tabletop CR system is designed for general radiography, orthopedic, chiropractic and full leg/full spine applications. The system also can handle mobile applications, Mortsel, Belgium-based Agfa said. The CR 10-X provides scanning of 100 µm pixels at a rate of 34 plates per hour and is equipped with MUSICA2 image-processing software and the NX workstation.
The modular CR 30-Xm, which also includes MUSICA2, is geared toward mammography and general radiography applications, including full leg/full spine. Its features include 50 micrometer pixel definition and the NX workstation.
The company also introduced DX-D Retrofit, a connection-only system allowing upgrade of film and CR-based modalities to DR. It comprises a flat-panel detector, the retrofit box including a hand switch and NX workstation with MUSICA2 image processing software. The system offers a choice of wireless Cesium Iodide (CsI) and tethered gadolinium oxysulfide (GOS) detectors and includes 35x43 cm cassette-size detectors.
