Agfa announces support for AHRA imaging institute

Agfa Healthcare announced the commitment of $500,000 to the AHRA Education Foundation Partnership Initiative, in support of AHRA’s Imaging Leadership Institute during the RSNA 2006 this week in Chicago. The AHRA’s goal is to be a “conduit” between imaging professionals and companies that have products and services to sell. In this way the organization hopes to improve the marketplace by providing a means for “shared information and mutual understanding” between image management professionals and vendors, according to a statement from the organization.

The Image Leadership Foundation will focus on providing a number of development programs designed especially for administrators, directions, managers, supervisors, and technologists, AHRA said.
