Health Record Services adds radiology services, names Pilato to executive team
Health Record Services (HRS), a Baltimore-based healthcare services company, reported that it is expanding its service offerings for radiology coding. The announcement was made this week at the AHRA annual meeting in Florida.
HRS is offering radiology practices experienced and credentialed coders to manage coding volume, maintain cash flow, and decrease denials utilizing remote coding technology staffed by U.S.-based personnel, the company said.
In addition to coding services, HRS will also offer expert audits and peer-to-peer physician educational programs for clinical documentation improvement in radiology.
In related news, Wendy Coplan, HRS president, has named Jeff Pilato to the firm’s senior management team.
Prior to joining HRS, Pilato was a regional manager for Bethlehem, Penn.-based healthcare consulting firm HP3, and also worked as a coding and billing auditor specializing in radiology, interventional radiology, cardiology, and chargemaster auditing, according to HRS.
