PACSGear notches 600th customer

Diagnostic medical image and information system developer PACSGear reported that it has added its 600th customer site, Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Mo.

The Pleasanton, Calif.-based PACSGear said that the facility selected it for its capabilities to add documents and multimedia to its existing PACS platform.

The company said that in addition to the Missouri Delta Medical Center, it added 70 new sites in the second quarter this year. In addition to importing radiology-based documents, film and multimedia into PACS, many of these sites also selected PACSGear to connect departments outside of radiology to their medical image management systems, according to the firm.
