aycan adds to workstation, PACS suites

aycan Medical Systems showed aycan workstation OsiriXPRO and launched aycan Store at the 94th Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) annual meeting in Chicago.

Designed for navigation and visualization of multi-modality and multi-dimensional images, aycan workstation OsiriXPRO provides a high performance, low-cost workstation for multi-slice and other diagnostic image reading. The workstation leverages the OsiriX open-source project to provide an image processing tool and DICOM PACS workstation with plug-in architecture. It can be integrated into existing systems and network environments or standalone, aycan said.

Geared to small hospital and diagnostic imaging centers, aycan store is a scalable high performance DICOM archiving and distribution system. The plug-and-play system incorporates 3D post-processing and 64-bit architecture, according to the company.
