DatCard Systems showcases PacsCube, MammoSmart
DatCard Systems highlighted its PacsCube suite and MammoSmart at the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) annual meeting in Chicago, Nov. 30 through Dec. 4.
PacsCube records DICOM images and diagnostic results to CD and DVD. An embedded DICOM viewer included on each disc allows users to view the images from any PC, according to the company. Discs are labeled with the facility logo, patient’s demographics, study information and a unique identification number for audit trail purposes. PacsCube supports a variety of OEM viewers. The PacsCube suite includes four solutions that can be scaled to facilities producing more than 100 CDs daily.
DatCard also shared MammoSmart, which produces CD/DVDs containing complete mammography history and breast care information. Each disc contains a patient information, such as self-breast/family healthcare history for high risk patients; educational information that covers the complete spectrum of mammography and complementary services; Breast Self Examination and Introduction to Mammography videos; answers to frequently asked questions; tools for further research through support group website links; digital mammography images and diagnostic results and personal demographics, insurance information and medical history.
