Minnesota radiology practice chooses Amicas

St. Paul Radiology, a private radiology practice in St. Paul, Minn., has selected Amicas to provide image and information management solutions.

St. Paul Radiology will utilize web-based technology for integrated scheduling, reading, marketing, teleradiology, customer service, and results distribution initiatives. Included in the partnership deal are Amicas RIS, Amicas PACS, Amicas Teleradiology, Amicas RadStream and Amicas Reach solutions, according to the Boston-based company. The Amicas solution will be tightly integrated with NightHawk Radiology Services’ Talon Clinical Workflow Solution, which is already in use within St. Paul Radiology.

St. Paul Radiology, an 84-radiologist practice, provides reading services for more than one million annual exams at seven imaging centers, multiple specialty clinics and 11 hospitals throughout the upper Midwest.
