N.C. telerad provider selects eRad platform

eRad, a web-based PACS and teleradiology software company in Greensville, S.C., has signed an agreement with Complete Radiology Reading Services (CRRS), to implement a PACS for the practice.

"We are making this PACS vendor change because we anticipate continued growth, and we were concerned our previous system could not handle this growth or the support we will require for it," said Allen Rothpearl, MD, president and CEO of the Westbury, N.Y.-based CRRS.

CRRS provides off-site general and subspecialty radiology coverage by partnering with hospitals, imaging centers and physician offices to provide access to interpretations, according to eRad.
