NovaRad scores two PACS contracts in Kentucky

NovaRad has added two clinics in Louisville, Ky., to its client roster: OB/GYN, P.S.C. and Total Woman.

The American Fork, Utah-based company said that its NovaPACS will improve workflow for the clinics with fast image loads and a mouse-driven viewer for unimpeded image viewing. In addition, interpreting and referring physicians will benefit with access to images and the set of tools including voice annotation, MIPS/MPR, point region of interest, measuring tools and e-sign.

NovaPACS is an enterprise-level PACS offering fast image retrieval, full-feature viewer with seven-year on-site archive with offsite, emergency backup, according to the company. Full screen viewing, easy to use menus and mouse-based functions are available to help referring physicians access images and reports from any computer, NovaRad said.
