Aloka introduces two ultrasound systems for cardiac and vascular markets
Diagnostic ultrasound provider Aloka has introduced two ultrasound systems with platforms for cardiac and vascular imaging, the Alpha 10 and Alpha 7.
According to the Wallingford, Conn.-based Aloka, the Alpha 10 incorporates standard cardiovascular features such as stress echo, tissue Doppler imaging (TDI)/strain, transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) transducers, full reporting capabilities, DICOM networking, as well as Echo Tracking for early diagnosis of atherosclerosis, free angular M-mode and neonatal TEE.
Aloka said the Alpha 7 system is designed for mid-level and office-based imaging centers, and offers a suite of cardiovascular capabilities in a compact chassis for smaller facilities.
