Avreo, MRS pair up for mammo tracking

Avreo and Mammography Reporting System (MRS) have partnered to integrate MRS mammography tracking system into Avreo RIS/PACS.

Integration between Avreo and MRS will allow healthcare organizations to perform breast-related procedures using Avreo’s RIS/PACS, said the Charleston, S.C.-based Avreo.

MRS tracks cases and generates patient results and recall letters, while recording notes and printed documents as part of the patient's permanent history, noted Seattle-based MRS. The integration of the two products allows hospitals, imaging centers and medical facilities to track patient results without duplicating data entry, according to the companies.
