Barco gets FDA cleared for its 1MP grayscale flat panel display
Barco is now offering a new 1MP grayscale flat panel display thanks to the FDA 510(k) clearance of the MFGD 1218 1MP flat panel display.
Barco's MFGD 1218 is an 18-inch grayscale flat panel display with a 1280 x 1024 resolution. Its high brightness, image crispness and viewing angle have been designed to work especially well with a number of medical applications, including PACS, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging and angiography.
The MFGD 1218 display comes with the company's NIOWATCH software, which optimizes the display for DICOM-compliant viewing.
The display also can be combined with the high-speed BARCOMED NIO display controller, with 64-bit PCI performance and image download speeds up to 200 MB per second.
