Biosound offers compact ultrasound system

Biosound Esaote of Indianapolis, Ind. launched MyLab 30 CV ultrasound system at the American Society of Echocardiography annual meeting, June 26-30, in San Diego.

The MyLab 30 CV platform implements phased array technology for cardiac imaging, linear array for vascular and small parts, as well as curved array and microconvex for general imaging. Other features include native DICOM, a digital management application and an integrated CD writer for storage and transfer of clinical studies.

MyLab 30 CV evaluates the heart, vasculature and organs of the body using the appropriate transducer technology and the appropriate measurement and analysis packages for each application, said Biosound. The system incorporates advanced cardiovascular features such as integrated contrast acquisition and analysis modes and high-resolution multiplane transesophageal imaging.
