Brailer to discuss national agenda for health IT at Misys meeting

Dr. David Brailer, National Coordinator for Health Information Technology, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, will do the keynote address at the Misys Healthcare Systems Annual Conference & Expo in Orlando, Fla., July 21-24.
   
Brailer's speech on "The National Agenda for Health Information Technology Adoption" will take place on the evening of July 23. Dr. Brailer was appointed last year by President Bush to oversee a 10-year plan to forward the adoption of electronic health records in the U.S. health system.
   
Other conference highlights include over 100 instructional sessions, product demonstrations, a hands-on computer room and social gatherings, Misys said.
