Canon Medical Systems (Booth 8313) is showcasing at RSNA the latest addition to its family of DR systems. The Canon CXDI-60G, a portable, cassette-type, flat-panel detector that is less than an inch thick and weighs 5.9 pounds. The CXDI-60G offers an effective imaging area of 9 x 11 inches, accommodating a diverse range of applications, including the x-raying of hands, elbows, feet and knees. Also featuring low power consumption and a detachable sensor cable for convenient maintenance and installation.

In addition, the company is displaying the Canon CXDI-50G portable DR system which has a thin, light-weight design and an imaging area of 14 x 17 inches. When combined with a mobile unit, the Canon CXDI-50G can bring DR directly to the bedside. The CXDI-50G is being shown integrated with the RadPRO 40kW high-frequency Digital mobile x-ray system.

The Canon CXDI-40EC DR System, which features the LANMIT 8, is equipped with a 17 x 17-inch imaging area for capturing x-ray images without the need to adjust detector orientation. At the core of the CXDI-40EC DR system is the Canon amorphous silicon flat-panel detector with cesium iodide scintillator, which produces high-resolution diagnostic images in 12-bit grayscale (4096 gradations). The CXDI-40EC is being shown integrated with the RadPRO FM1 floor-mounted radiography system.
