Canvys launches new company identity, highlights displays
Canvys, a division of Richardson Electronics, combined engineering and manufacturing expertise from Pixelink, A.C.T. Kern and Image Systems, to unveil a new identity at the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) annual meeting in Chicago, Nov. 30 through Dec. 4.
“Consolidation of these three entities allows us to take advantage of global efficiencies,” explained Christopher Kane, global marketing manager of healthcare. “Our goal continues to be building collaborative and consultative relationships with our customers, offering them exactly what they need: an efficient and responsive organization to help solve their visual technology challenges.”
The Canvys team develops healthcare-specific display solutions for diagnostic and clinical review, trauma centers, surgical suites and modality-specific applications. Its medical display solutions meet agency certifications and calibration standards.
The company also showcased its Image Systems brand of color and grayscale displays, which include Image Systems’ Calibration Feedback System software and offer users DICOM compliant images.
The Image Systems FPP19FXP 2 megapixel (MP), FPP20HXP (3MP) and FPP21CXP (5MP) grayscale displays feature one-touch illuminated OSD controls, a digital ambient light sensor to constantly monitor light conditions in the reading room and a new luminance uniformity control function to provide 90 percent brightness uniformity, Canvys said. The Image Systems Professional Series LCDs are currently available from Canvys and include a standard five-year warranty and Canvys’ three-year Hot Swap Advance Product Replacement service.
