Eizo, Matrox bundle displays, controller boards

Medical display developer Eizo Nanao will be shipping Matrox Graphics’ Xenia series display controller boards with various Eizo RadiForce medical displays.

The Hakusan, Japan-based Eizo said it is offering the Matrox Xenia series display controller boards with its RadiForce GS320 3-megapixel (MP) monochrome and the RadiForce RX320 3-MP color medical displays. Featuring a high-resolution and high-definition display, the RadiForce GS320 paired with the Matrox Xenia, allows for 10-bit (1,024 tones) simultaneous grayscale display, while the RadiForce RX320 paired with the Matrox Xenia, allows for a 10-bit color display.

Additionally, Eizo is offering the Matrox Xenia Pro with the Radiforce GS520, the 5-MP digital mammography monitors, allowing for 10-bit (1,024 tones) simultaneous grayscale display.

The Montreal-based Matrox said its Xenia series is a PCI Express single-slot board with digital, triple-monitor output. The Xenia series supports resolutions from under 1 MP up to 8 MP, with up to 1 GB of on-board memory, and features new technology to ensure optimum display calibration (via Matrox DLC and 8/10/13-bit gamma LUTs).
