Emageon, Stentor file IPOs with SEC

Emageon Inc. this week filed a registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for a proposed initial public offering of its common stock.  All shares to be included in the offering will be sold by the company.

Wachovia Capital Markets LLC and Piper Jaffray & Co. are the joint book-running managers of the underwriting group, Emageon said. Raymond James & Associates Inc. and Friedman, Billings, Ramsey & Co. Inc. are co-managers, according to Emageon.

Stentor Inc. also filed a registration statement with SEC relating to the proposed initial public offering of shares of its common stock. The shares in the offering are being offered by Stentor.

Morgan Stanley will serve as lead manager for the offering, with JPMorgan acting as co-lead manager and Thomas Weisel Partners LLC acting as co-manager, Stentor said. The number of shares to be offered and the price range for the offering have not yet been determined.
