EMC posts double-digit Q1 results

EMC Corp. this week reported its financial results for first quarter 2005 with double-digit year-to-year growth for the seventh consecutive quarter, according to a release.
   
EMC's revenue in the first quarter 2004 was $1.87 billion; however this year's result for the same time period showed $2.24 billion in revenue, a 20 percent improvement. Other results for the quarter were $270 million or $.11 per diluted share, 93 percent higher than 2004, EMC said.
