eRAD upgrades PACS software

eRAD has unveiled its new eRAD PACS Version 5.1 which  includes a number of upgrades from previous releases to boost workflow and system performance, eRAD said.
   
Some key features include: modules for Image Stitching; COBB angle calculations; remote service and monitoring; automatic archive filtering and retrieving; 3-D volume rendering and orthopedic templating; network infrastructure improvements; more robust network support for high-volume, multi-access-point installation; and improved HIS (hospital information system)/RIS (radiology information system) features that allow for more efficient exchange of patient data.
