Exempla taps AccessPt for clinical portal

AccessPt. Inc., a developer of internet-based software applications for the healthcare industry, signed an agreement with Exempla Healthcare to develop and implement a clinical portal that would allow authorized access to clinical information systems.

Exempla Healthcare is a three hospital system based in Denver. Upon installation of AccessPt's portal technology, practioners and care providers would have authorized instant, secure access to all patient care systems including: Meditech, PACS, radiology, Lab, Quick Chart document imaging, and other health information systems.

The AccessPt system, in conjunction with their portal, offers users a single sign-on, as well as a single patient search utility from any secure computer with internet access.
