FDA approves Aspyra's PACS with mammo CAD

Aspyra has received FDA 510(k) marketing clearance for AccessNET PACS with the new capability to view digital mammography studies for diagnostic interpretation using FDA-approved monitors.

The AccessNET PACS will now include the display of mammography computer-aided detection (CAD) results, the IHE conformant hanging protocols and other display capabilities for digital mammography studies, according to Westlake, Calif.-based company. Additionally, integration with the on-board functionality of the Matrox Xenia card provides displays and images required for mammography.
