FDA issues 510(k) PACS approval for USEI's ME511L monitor

U.S. Electronics Inc. (USEI), of Minneapolis has received 510(k) clearance from the FDA to market its ME511L, five-megapixel, monochrome LCD, flat-panel display for use with picture archiving and communication systems (PACS) in the United States.

The Totoku ME511L LCD has a 21.3-inch screen (measured diagonally) for multi-modality applications. The display offers viewing angles of 170 degrees in all directions, a 600:1 contrast ratio and dual-digital (DVI) video input. The unit also offers a universal VESA mounting for wall mount or desk stand.

USEI Totoku monitors also feature innovative hardware and software to provide stable image display under a wide range of conditions ensuring consistent, reliable display characteristics.
