FDA offering free mammography educational materials for patients

As the calendar turns to October, the FDA hopes to help physicians prepare for Breast Cancer Awareness Month by offering resources to educate patients on mammography.

The FDA’s Office of Women’s Health has developed free publications to share with patients. These resources are designed to be easy to understand and show the importance of mammography screening.

Those who are interested also can learn how to participate in clinical trials on FDA’s Patient Network.
