FDA OKs AtriCure disposable cryoablation system for arrhythmias

AtriCure has received 510(k) clearance from the FDA for Cryo1, its disposable cryoablation system for the treatment of cardiac arrhythmias.
The West Chester, Ohio-based company said its Cryo1 system has a long, malleable, yet rigid, design to achieve thermal dynamics and an active defrost mode. Also, the AtriCure Frigitronics CCS-200 console supports both its Cryo1 disposable probe and its line of reusable cryoablation probes.
