IDC supplies Xplorer to VA, announces Singapore distributor
Imaging Dynamics Company (IDC) of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, will supply its line of Xplorer digital radiography (DR) systems to the department of the United States Veterans Affairs (VA).
The VA healthcare system is comprised of 21 networks with 163 hospitals, 137 nursing homes and more than 850 ambulatory care and community-based outpatient clinics. IDC Xplorer digital capture technology will provide the VA with high-resolution digital imaging that fits into their transition plans to go to filmless radiography.
In related news, IDC this week confirmed an agreement with Scanmed Technology Pte Ltd. to be an official distributor of IDC's CCD-based DR product line in the Singapore market. Scanmed is a premier supplier and distributor for imaging, imaging related equipment and software to hospital radiology departments.
