Illinois facility to integrate ScImage and Eclipsys technologies

Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Ill., has purchased ScImage's PICOMEnterprise PACS to integrate it with the facility's Eclipsys Corp.'s Sunrise clinical information system.

PICOMEnterprise will deliver data from cardiology imaging services, radiology imaging services, and EKG management to the Sunrise system, as well as provide telemedicine capabilities to designated members of the facility.

PICOMEnterprise also will also capture, store and distribute data from the hospital's existing PACS for image acquisition, diagnostic review, short-term storage, reporting and web-based distribution utilizing a single application platform.

Blessing Hospital is a partner in Quincy Health Care Management, Inc., with the Quincy Medical Group.
