Illinois hospital installs a dozen Carestream DR systems

Edward Hospital & Health Services has installed 12 wireless DR systems from Carestream.

The Naperville, Ill.-based healthcare provider implemented eight Carestream DRX-1 systems into existing equipment in its ED and radiology department and used three Carestream DRX-Mobile Retrofit kits to upgrade existing portable x-ray units used for patient bedside imaging in the OR, ICU and ED. A Carestream DRX-Evolution system will be installed at a new outpatient center in South Plainfield, Ill.
