IMV ranks Philips ultrasound business No. 1

Royal Philips Electronics has been rated the No. 1 vendor in overall service and first in manufacturer performance for "Ultrasound All Systems" by its customers in the 2005 IMV ServiceTrak survey.  Philips also received top marks in customer satisfaction for Ultrasound Cardiology and Radiology/OB-GYN. This marks a first place for Philips for the 13th consecutive year.

More than 2,200 respondents were asked to rate manufacturers on a broad range of factors across the product ownership lifecycle.  Philips rated best in the areas of emergency response, satisfaction with service and manufacturer performance, satisfaction with service engineer, help desk telephone support, and remote dial-in diagnostic support.  The report also indicated that Philips customers were happier than any other manufacturers' customers with the services they receive.
