Integrated Document Solutions, Imaging On Call create RIS-less solution
Healthcare IT provider Integrated Document Solutions (IDS) and Poughkeepsie, N.Y.-based teleradiology company Imaging On Call (IOC) have achieved a RIS-less teleradiology solution using 100 percent speech recognition and template-based reporting, said IDS.
The Ft. Lauderdale Fla.-based company said that the solution automates report creation and advances formatting and distribution that currently supports more than 30 radiologists around the world serving more than 70 ERs, hospitals and medical facilities.
The solution was deployed in less than a month, leveraging a cloud-based approach from IDS and IOC’s speech recognition technology, said IDS.
