Konica Minolta DR cleared for sale in Canada

Konica Minolta Medical Imaging's Aero DR Wireless system has received clearance from Health Canada, making the system available for sale in Canada.

Aero DR can be combined with a new x-ray purchase or used as a “universal fit” upgrade that fits existing wall stands and bucky trays without modifications, according to Wayne, N.J.-based Konica Minolta.

The system’s flat panel detector is able to provide high detector quantum efficiency through the incorporation of Konica Minolta’s cesium iodide scintillator. The Aero DR also incorporates Konica Minolta’s image processing technology from its Regius systems.
