Matrox launches new boards

Matrox Graphics Inc. this week introduced the Aurora VX2mp medical imaging display controller boards.

The Aurora VX display controller boards are low profile, single board, PCI Express devices which can power up to three displays- one Navigation Console (NC) and two Twin Imaging Displays (TIDs), Matrox said. The controller boards are suitable for PACS, and a variety of modalities such as x-ray imaging, CT, MRI and digital radiography.

The Matrox Aurora VX2mp display controller board's analog NC display output supports up to a resolution of 2 mega-pixel (MP), and each TID output can support up to 2MP analog or digital displays. Equipped with hardware pivot, the Aurora VX2mp board is also capable of driving various combinations of color and grayscale displays in portrait and/or landscape modes.
