Matrox unveils low profile controller boards at JSMRM

Matrox Graphics Inc. introduced two new display controller boards for low profile workstations, Low Profile RAD2mp and Low Profile RAD3mp, at the annual meeting of the Japanese Society of Magnetic Resonance in Medicine (JSMRM) in Otsu, Japan, Sept. 16 - 18.

Matrox said the new boards offer dual output support of up to 2-megapixel (MP) and 3 MP grayscale or color, analog or digital displays respectively, and come equipped with hardware pivot for smooth and accelerated portrait image displays. The low profile boards are also capable of driving various combinations of color and grayscale displays in stretched or independent modes, and feature Matrox's real-time grayscale processing technology, ExtendiGray.
