Medical Imaging Holdings becomes Unisyn with new acquisitions

Medical Imaging Holdings, a holding company formed by healthcare private equity firm Galen Partners, has changed its name to Unisyn Medical Technologies.

Over the past two months, Medical Imaging Holdings has acquired Barrington Medical Imaging, Sonora Medical Systems and Echoserve. These companies have been combined to create a single lifecycle medical imaging solutions provider with competencies in the areas of systems acquisition and installation, multi-modality service and support, and quality assurance and accreditation, according to the Golden, Colorado-based Unisyn.
