Merge eFilm gives RIS a makeover

Merge eFilm will integrate Esker DeliveryWare Platform with its Fusion RIS module.

Merge says the document delivery system will increase the functionality and value of its RIS (radiology information system) by enabling electronic delivery of reports through automated faxing. Now, when a radiologist signs off on a report, it is automatically faxed to the referring physician(s), with copies sent to other designated recipients. The features include faster report turnaround, lower delivery costs greater profitability and satisfied physicians, Merge said.
