Merge eFilm releases Fusion RIS v. 2.5

Merge eFilm this week released the Fusion RIS (RIS Logic Module) Version 2.5, which includes integration with Fusion PACS. The Milwaukee, Wis.-based company says the integration facilitates RIS (radiology information system), PACS (picture archiving and communication systems), dictation, reporting, document management and billing workflow to run from a single user desktop application.

Creating significant productivity improvements for the radiologist and technologist, the new version to Fusion RIS eliminates the time and cost experienced in deploying multiple vendor systems tied together using complex interfaces. Also new in Fusion RIS 2.5 is an optional document management module embedded into the RIS/PACS workflow, as well as more than 140 feature enhancements, according to Merge.
