Misys automates workflow at Cleveland Clinic Home Care Services

The Cleveland Clinic Home Care Services is implementing Misys Healthcare Systems' Homecare to manage its clinical, financial and administrative information technology (IT) needs.

Cleveland Clinic Home Care Services, which services more than 1,200 new admissions each month, began the conversion to Misys in December. About 300 clinicians and 140 business personnel will be using the new system once installation is completed, Misys said.

Field users will be able to effectively upload and download data at the point of care, providing fast and continuous access to patient information and enhanced patient care. Paperwork will be electronically signed and transferred back to the home office, allowing the agency to more easily process critical information.  The product will also allow Cleveland Clinic Home Care Services to expedite patient billing and maintain patient data, Misys said.
