Misys shows RIS upgrades
Misys Healthcare Systems showcased last week at the Society for Computer Applications in Radiology (SCAR) Annual Meeting in Orlando, Fla., the latest version of its Misys Radiology v.4.3 with a number of upgraded features, some of which were developed through a collaborative process involving customers input.
The Misys PACS Integration Module (PIM) includes DICOM services that allow the system to communicate bi-directionally with any PACS vendor that uses IHE guidelines; worklist management; auto-routing and pre-fetching functions; integrated mammography reporting and tracking by interfacing with a Mammography Reporting System (MRS Inc.) system; the WebView Internet access allows users to review and sign off on diagnostic reports; image transport and tracking through a bar code technology; and a comprehensive procedure history for access to a central patient data repository.
