NEC introduces SpectraviewII LCD monitor color calibration product

NEC Display Solutions recently announced the SpectraViewII color calibration solution. SpectraViewII is designed to deliver an advanced and easy-to-use calibration and profiling capabilities for color-critical applications including medical imaging, and a variety of other processes, the company said.

SpectraViewII delivers greater sensitivity and better color accuracy over previous releases in addition to providing the flexibility of being able to support multiple displays on a single system. It also can be utilized over a network for remote calibration.

Other features include the Eye-One Display 2, a co-branded colorimeter from GretagMacbeth, which measures color and light from the displays for gains in color tracking capabilities and repeatability.

The new SpectraViewII may be integrated with either the NEC MultiSync LCD1980SXi-SV and LCD2180UX-SV, or the software and sensor kit can also be purchased separately or as individual components for use with compatible displays.
