NEC to ship Matrox displays

NEC Display Solutions of America will be shipping Matrox Graphics' Matrox Xenia Pro display controller boards for use with a variety of color and grayscale medical LCD displays.

The company said that its Matrox Xenia is a native PCI Express single-slot board with digital, triple-monitor output. With up to 1 gigabyte of on-board memory, Xenia Pro supports resolutions from under 1 megapixel (MP) up to 8MP, and features technology to ensure display calibration (via Matrox DLC and 8/10/13-bit gamma LUTs), the Montreal-based Matrox and the Itasca, Ill.-based NEC said.
