NovaRad lands NovaPACS deal

NovaRad Corp. has been awarded a contract from Central Ohio Primary Care Physicians Inc. (COPCP) to install its NovaPACS system for viewing and archiving digital images, NovaRad said the system will be integrated with the facility's existing RIS (radiology information system).

COPCP, a medical group practice with imaging centers in Columbus, Ohio, reads close to 30,000 studies per year, and since NovaPACS was installed at the main facility there in November 2004 the center has become 100 percent filmless, with the exception of mammography.
