N.Y. provider taps Agfa for CR

Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City has chosen Agfa DX-G computed radiography (CR) system.

The DX-G uses a five-cassette drop-and-go buffer. It can be positioned as a central digitizer within a radiology department, providing support for multiple exam rooms, or positioned within an x-ray room, narrow corridor or other small space, according to Mortsel, Belgium-based Agfa..

DX-G incorporates Musica2, Agfa's image processing software, which analyzes the characteristics of each image and optimizes processing parameters.
