ODS Medical introduces upgrades its PACScomm

ODS Medical announced upgrades to its PACScomm CD/DVD Image Recording System and the PACSstor Image Storage System. The addition of 400GB of storage makes PACScomm as a short-term working PACS archive. The 400GB working archive, along with PACScomm's Auto Archive function, provides a complete mini-PACS archive that includes off-line archive management. The 400GB non-RAID version is available immediately. A RAID version will be available with a new hardware platform, slated for late 2005.

Release V2.3 also adds the ability to span studies across multiple pieces of media, adds support of DICOM structured reports for capability to include reports to the record CD content, and mixed media support.
