ODS talks up archiving system upgrade, reseller partnership

ODS Medical highlighted last week at the Society for Computer Applications in Radiology (SCAR) Annual Meeting in Orlando, Fla., an upgrade to its PACScomm and PACSstor at SCAR with a new version of auto-archiving software which is designed to extend the utility of the product, increases support of HIPAA standards, includes a DVD/CD burning feature, and has dual-purpose CD and archiving functions, according to ODS Medical.
   
The company also provided details to attendees regarding its newly inked reseller partnership with Rorke Data that will integrate the PACScomm and PACSstore products into its technology store.
   
Additionally, a new user interface for the company's line of PACS products was also on display with assorted usability improvements.
