Ontario practice goes digital with Carestream
Georgian Radiology Consultants in Barrie, Ontario, has installed Carestream DRX-1 systems at each of its six imaging clinics.
The implementation of the Carestream wireless DR detectors, seven in total, was part of the group’s conversion to an all-digital workflow that began with the deployment of PACS and an EMR. The DRX systems were purchased from and installed by BCL X-Ray Canada.
The ability to integrate DR technology in existing x-ray rooms was a vital element in the group’s digital conversion, according to Rochester, N.Y.-based Carestream.
