Orthocrat partners with 9 PACS vendors

Orthocrat Ltd. has inked agreements with nine major PACS vendors for integration of its TraumaCad digital orthopedic planning system into their electronic capture and archiving system.
   
Agreements have been signed with: MedWeb, Orex, UltraRad Corp., Intelerad, Viztek, ICRco, Vepro USA, MTS Delft and Dynamic Imaging.
   
TraumaCad provides surgeons with digital images, tools and templates for planning a full range of orthopedic surgeries. Scaleable and web-based, TraumaCad turns any PC into a full-featured diagnostic workstation, delivering enterprise-wide access to images and surgical plans.
   
The system is compatible with CR, DR, CT, MRI modalities. Among the supported implant manufacturers are Biomet, Depuy, Smith and Nephew, Stryker, Wright and Zimmer, according to Orthocrat.
