PMSI, Primetime partner

Electronic health record (EHR) and computerized physician order entry systems vendor Physician Micro Systems Inc. (PMSI) and Primetime Medical Software Inc., maker of the Instant Medical History patient interview application, have integrated technologies.

Primetime's Instant Medical History will be combined with PMSI's Practice Partner Patient Records so that patients can enter his or her complete present illness, review of systems, and medical history information prior to his or her visit to the doctors - either over the web or using a waiting room kiosk.

Instant Medical History summarizes the information and automatically begins a progress note in the patient chart in Practice Partner Patient Records. The physician can then open the patient's EHR, review the patient-entered information, and complete the documentation for the encounter.
