RSNA: Laitek highlights PACS data migration tool

Laitek (Booth 1002), a provider of data migration services for PACS replacements, will be unveiling its Semperdata Storage Solution at the 2009 Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) conference in Chicago this month.

The Semperdata Static DICOM Archive is an enhancement to Laitek’s Migratek Advanced Data Migration services, according to the Homewood, Ill.-based company. Migratek is Laitek’s approach to data migration that accesses data at the storage media source. The Semperdata enhancement stores migrated medical image data in DICOM Media File-sets on storage systems for long-term access to PACS neutral data.
