Siemens launches new system for improved HIM workflow

Siemens Medical Solutions launched Soarian HIM (health information management) at HIMSS 2004.

Siemens says the system extends the reach of Soarian technology to address the many challenges HIM departments face, such as staffing shortages and regulatory compliance. The system is designed to streamline workflow and create a paperless HIM workflow. Users have the freedom to implement the system's components in a modular fashion, which include: online medical record, completion management, coding management, disclosure management, executive HIM scorecard and release management.
