Siemens revamps London hospitals rad dept

St. Bartholomew’s Hospital in the London-part of the London NHS Trust-has been redeveloped with the help of a managed equipment service partnership between the Trust and Siemens Healthcare.

Via the partnership, Siemens has installed 11 new imaging systems into the new imaging and diagnostics department located within St. Bartholomew’s Cancer Centre, including an Artis zee ceiling mounted interventional angiography system and two Ysio wi-D direct digital radiography (DR) systems, an Aristos MX DR system, a dual-energy Somatom Definition AS+ CT scanner and a 64-slice Somatom Definition AS, as well as an Acuson X300 and an Acuson S200 ultrasound system, said the Malvern, Pa.-based company.
